The Hinterland Truck has Found it's Purpose! We have an old truck at the shop, a F250 from the late 1950s. The truck has been just a hunk of love (and metal and rust). I was unsure what to do with her in the long term. Some ideas were a stage, a seating area, I even briefly considered a little pond in the truck bed. What I ended up doing was to reinforce the rusted-out bed and turn it into a flower bed, and with the cab we went full smooch-cab photo-booth. Since finishing that up we've hosted 2 local photographers for day-long photo sessions. The second photo session we hosted in the truck cab was photographed by Jamie Thrower. Because it was spring I also felt inspired to harvest flowers and decorate the back patio and truck for the occasion. To add to the sweetness of the day we also hosted Mary from Ramblin' Rose ice cream. The entire day turned out pretty darn cute--if I do say so myself. Jamie is a talented photographer--as well as as a death doula--and the vibe was so sweet. The photos themselves turned out so adorable. You can take a gander at them in their entirety if you wish. I'll also put some highlights on this post. The next photo event will be on August 3rd from 10-3 with photographer and friend Cara Lindsay. Enjoy some of my favorite snaps from the day:
